This Custom Harvest Insurance Program is structured as a specialty, niche-market, program-style insurance product. An identical insurance package is offered to a homogenous client base and is managed by Custom Harvest Insurance, Ltd.

The program began in 1983 with the underwriting partnership of the USF&G Insurance Company. Over the years the program has evolved through various companies and program structures, including a five-year rent-a-captive setup. Presently the insurance is underwritten by Star Insurance Company, a domestic carrier admitted in all states of the Union. Star Insurance Company is owned by Meadowbrook Insurance Group, which is traded on the New York Stock Exchange.

This Custom Harvest Insurance Program is administered by Custom Harvest Insurance, Ltd. owned by Mike Esau and Larry Minner.
